  • Selection: Dancers choose their preferred song and discipline, then inform the backstage MC.

  • Performance Order: Dancers perform in descending age order, allowing younger dancers more time to adjust.

  • Technical Ability: 25%

  • Objective: Judges assess dancers on their ability to naturally interpret unchoreographed music.

    STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHY CATEGORY:

A routine choreographed & taught by one of your competitive team students. Can be any performance style, entry type or age division, however, all student choreography pieces will compete against each other as 12 & under or 13 & over. Each dancer entered in this category will receive the same awards as they would in the regular divisions but they won't compete against routines in the regular divisions and do not qualify for general overalls.

    COSTUME FOR STUDENT CHOREO DIVISION:
Costume must be worn just as you would any other choreographed routine
