Each season, EMPWR Dance Experience selects EIGHT outstanding dancers PER EVENT to represent our mission through the EMPWR Ambassador Program. These young leaders are chosen not just for their talent, but for their integrity, kindness, and dedication to making dance accessible to all. The EMPWR Ambassador Program is a movement of youth leadership, creative outreach, and equal opportunity. It’s a rare opportunity for dancers to be part of something bigger than themselves, using their art to give back.

  • 4 Senior Ambassadors per event 

  • 4 Intermediate Ambassadors per event 

  • Ambassadors are carefully selected by the entire EMPWR team at each competition based on their merits and attitude on AND off the stage

WHAT WILL THE AMBASSADORS DO?:

  • Ambassador Photoshoot & Leadership Meeting - June

  • Monthly Check-ins – July & August

  • EMPWR ALL Outreach & Choreography Project – Sept & Oct

  • Heart of EMPWR Special Award presentation

    WHAT IS THE EMPWR ALL OUTREACH PROJECT?

    Ambassadors are divided into teams of 8 (each with Choreographers & Dance Captains (Senior dancers) and Assistants (Intermediate dancers).

    1. Each team is assigned a group from a school or community dance program to collaborate with.

    2. Each team will co-create and teach a piece in a 4-5 hour rehearsal session to their group. These groups will compete at an EMPWR event that season under the EMPWR Dance Crew.

    WHAT IS THE HEART OF EMPWR AWARD?


    Each ambassador gets to select one session at any regional where they will present a “Heart of EMPWR” Award — given to a dancer or group that embodies courage, connection, and community.
